How does Email Home work?

Email Home is an Android Launcher app that brings together your homescreen and email experience.

The app provides the greatest navigation point for all the things that make you more productive! Email Home allows you to customize your home screen experience, read and send emails, and keep track of your to-dos and reminders.

How will my experience change?

Email Home replaces your existing homescreen with an uncluttered and evolved email and homescreen experience. You’ll be able to easily access all of the app’s features on your homescreen while maintaining your complete library of apps.

How do I add my email account?

You are able to add your email account in the second step of the app’s introduction walkthrough, on the screen that says ‘Set Up Your Email Account.’ Once you log in to your email account and grant the app permission to access it, you’re all set!

To add subsequent email accounts, go into your inbox in the swipe-right view from your homescreen and click the email account’s logo in the upper right hand corner. You will see a pop-up allowing you to select or add an account. Click ‘Add Account’ and follow the steps provided! This same location is how you will switch between the inboxes for your multiple email accounts.

Is Email Home safe to use?

Email Home is a safe and private way to connect Android users to their email on their homescreen. Just like your regular email app, the only person who can log in and view your emails is you!

How do I delete emails?

Swiping right on an email you no longer need or wish to see will remove it from your inbox in Email Home

Gmail: Deleting emails in your Gmail account through Email Home does not delete them in your Gmail app, desktop, or mobile site. We archive them for you so you can refer back to them if need be!

Yahoo! Mail, Outlook: If you are using Yahoo Mail or Outlook, deleting emails in Email Home will also delete the emails from the Yahoo Mail and Outlook inboxes you access via app, desktop, or mobile site.

Email Home is an Android Launcher app that brings together your home screen and email experience. Any notifications you receive are from Email Home telling you that you’ve received a new email! Clicking an email notification will take you into your inbox.

If you wish to limit or turn off these notifications, please go to your phone’s Settings and select System > Apps > Email Home > Notifications > and toggle your preferences on or off.

How do I uninstall Email Home?

We apologize if you aren’t completely satisfied with your experience!

To change your default homescreen back to your phone’s original experience, please visit your Settings app and select Settings > Default Homescreen and then change your selection.

If the version of Email Home you’re currently using doesn’t have this option, you may also go to Settings > System > Apps > Default Apps > Home App.

If you have difficulty with either of these menus on your device, you can always visit the Email Home listing in the Google Play Store and click on the green “Uninstall” button.

How do I remove Email Home?

If you aren’t completely satisfied with the Email Home experience, you can revert your phone’s homescreen launcher back to your device’s original settings.
To do so, please visit your Settings app and click Settings > Default Homescreen and then change your selection. You may then uninstall Email Home from your phone.

If the version of Email Home you’re currently using doesn’t have this option, you may also go to Settings > System > Apps > Default Apps > Home App and switch your selection, after which you can uninstall Email Home.

If you have difficulty with either of these menus on your device, you can always visit the Email Home listing on the Google Play Store and click on the green “Uninstall” button, which will remove the app from your phone.

How do I cancel my subscription? I would like to unsubscribe from my Email Home Premium.

If you no longer wish to use Email Home’s Premium Features with your monthly or yearly subscription you may cancel it through the Google Play Store. Simply launch the Google Play app and find your ‘Payments & Subscriptions’ settings by clicking your avatar in the top right corner to reveal the drop-down menu. If you still have difficulty or would like to discuss your issue with our team, please email support@emailhomeapp.com.

I would like a refund for my Premium subscription.

We apologize if you aren’t completely satisfied with your Premium Subscription experience.

In order to receive a refund please send an email to support@emailhomeapp.com letting us know the email address you used to subscribe. Once we have received this we will be able to cancel your subscription and refund your payment. We will respond with a confirmation once this has been completed.
